Join the Friends of Riverside Park Gardens

Volunteer activities continue as we plan to finish relandscaping the surrounding gardens. Now that we have completed the move back into the new greenhouse, the Friends are renewing our outreach efforts to the community through classes and other efforts.

We continue to search for new ideas to better serve the public and further our mission. A particular focus in the future will be to encourage gardening practices that are beneficial to the environment. Native plantings, composting and similar subjects will emphasized. With so many things going on there are many different opportunities to help. A wide variety of talents are needed and any amount of time will help. Even a few hours can make the difference.
